Forgotten places frozen in time 🇳🇱 Dutch photographer • Award-winning • Published Shot on film & digital • Follow to explore
  • Some of the most beautiful ceilings in Europe are hidden in plain sight.

Different architectural styles, rich ornamentation, and spatial compositions that are surprisingly beautiful, but only if you choose to look up.
Perspective changes everything.

🌍 Do you know where these photos were taken?
  • Proud to share that my work has been published in the @fraymemagazine analog photo book✨

It means a lot to be featured alongside so many talented analogue photographers. I’m grateful to be part of a project that celebrates the beauty of film, storytelling, and the slower process behind analogue photography.

There’s something special about seeing your work printed on a page. It makes the image feel real in a completely different way.

Thank you to everyone involved 🤍
  • From an abandoned house… to my wall.

1. The image I captured — raw, quiet, a trace of the past.
2. The moment I found it — a pair of old shoes, left behind.
3. The story, now part of my space.

From forgotten… to seen again.
  • Took my analog camera on a date with Radio Kootwijk… I think it went well 📷

From the massive concrete exterior to the slightly eerie (but very photogenic) interiors and that insanely beautiful floor, it’s a dream if you’re into architecture and history. Shooting on film here felt right. Slowed everything down, made me work for each shot

So if you’re into brutalist vibes, abandoned-looking gems and analog photography, you’ll love this spot as much as I did.

🎞 Shot on film (fingers crossed they turned out ok)
📍 Radio Kootwijk, Netherlands
  • Where metal remembers.

Three forgotten buses, slowly dissolving into silence.

Grain instead of pixels.
Dust instead of polish.
Stories instead of speed.

There’s something about abandoned places that digital can’t fake. The mystery, the stillness, the feeling that time stopped but never really left.
  • Three stories. One stop.
  • Sunlight through steel-framed windows, silent machines that once powered a city, and a floor that feels like it’s holding stories in every tile.
There’s something magical about forgotten places
.
Would you explore an abandoned industrial building like this, or does it give you chills?
  • In historic coal mines, workers stored their clothes in suspended metal lockers to keep them safe underground. Photographed from below on analog film, these structures become a study of history, labor, and industrial design.
